Helping OOH Operators Market Smarter: Introducing Graviss Marketing

Helping OOH operators market smarter is the reason Graviss Marketing exists in the first place.

Independent out-of-home operators know how to sell billboard space, negotiate leases, and keep structures maintained. But when it comes to marketing themselves, most do not have the time, people, or tools to do it effectively. That gap often shows up in outdated websites, inconsistent sales collateral, and missed opportunities to stand out against larger competitors.

That is where Graviss Marketing comes in.

Why We Launched Graviss Marketing

Founded in 2023 by Jonathan P. Graviss, Graviss Marketing was built specifically to support the OOH industry. Jonathan grew up around the business, saw the challenges operators face firsthand, and launched the company to provide practical marketing solutions tailored to independents.

Soon after, he was joined by his father, Jonathan “JG” Graviss, who serves as Chief Revenue Officer. JG brings more than 29 years of experience across 14 different OOH companies, including leadership roles at three of the big four. His background spans sales, operations, real estate, and general management, giving Graviss Marketing a unique insider’s perspective on what OOH operators truly need to grow.

New-School Innovation, Old-School Know-How

Together, Jonathan and JG combine new-school marketing innovation with old-school industry know-how; a blend that sets Graviss Marketing apart.

Why It Matters Now

Why It Matters Now

Search behavior has changed dramatically. Advertisers are no longer flipping through directories; they are searching online. And with Google pushing AI-driven results, it is no longer enough to just “have a website.” Your site must answer the questions buyers are asking, like billboard availability, costs, and creative guidelines if you want to be discovered.

At the same time, advertisers expect professional, consistent sales materials. If your photo sheets or proposals look dated, or worse, inconsistent. You risk being overlooked, even if your inventory is strong.

Simply put: if you are relying only on “Rent Me” signs, you are leaving money on the table.

Our Commitment to the OOH Community

Graviss Marketing exists to fill the gap most operators face: the need for professional marketing without the overhead of full-time staff. With Jonathan’s digital marketing expertise and JG’s decades of OOH leadership, we are here to help independents compete, grow, and thrive in a changing advertising landscape.

This article is just the beginning. In the months ahead, we will share practical insights on website design, SEO, AI search, sales tools, and more.  Everything is tailored to the OOH community.

Helping OOH Operators Market Smarter

This is exactly the kind of OOH marketing agency challenge independent operators bring to Graviss Marketing every week. If OOH marketing agency is something your team is actively working through, it is worth looking at how the underlying systems, not just individual tactics, are built to support it.

You can see how this fits into the bigger picture on our marketing systems page. And for broader industry context, the Out of Home Advertising Association of America is a useful resource for operators navigating these same questions.
